Opinion: Confused.?!
Review: In short (micro): The premise is the story is of a young home school taught and social inept aspiring Sci-Fi writer that has his story stolen by his idol, a highly published Sci-Fi writer that's floundering on ideas for his next big story.

The movie was entertaining enough and awkwardly hilarious at most points. Just to give you a idea of the "feel", the writer/director Jared Hess and wife writer Jerusha Hess did Napoleon Dynamite and Nocho Libre. Though THIS movie showcased the height of their ability to throw totally unrealistic circumstances into rather normal life settings; this was just a really odd but a completely amusing movie to watch. Much like watching the aftermath of a terrible car accident...a terrible clown car accident.

Instead of going into any further detail about the movie I have opted to make a colorful literary collage of visual representations of the movie: projectile vomiting used as a weapon, hand gun vs blow dart shoot out, combined rocket propelled ammunitions and taxidermy "battle stags", public 3-way involving a hand massage, Country Balls (two in a sack), albino python with diarrhea, phallic shaped bean pillow used as a bludgeoning weapon, harpies with mammary laser cannons, tranny super hero in pink satin and high heal gogo boots... oh the visuals.

Yeah like I said it was an odd movie.
I had to watch it twice because it was so out there.
