simple question... what do you prefer to use for headphones (brand/model), whether it be in the studio, or for personal use, or both? thanks!

I've got a pair of Ultrasone HFI-500 DJ1's. Best headphones i have heard for under 500 dollars.

just picked up a new pair of beyerdynamic DT-770s for a good price, was looking at getting just the usual mid-priced home stereo headphones, but most sets for less than $100 these days are just total crap... the beyerdynamics are serious the best set of headphones I've ever owned, beat the hell out of the cheap-assed Koss ones I've been using for the past 6 or 7 years, huge difference in the bass response, makes me consider getting a decent set of reference monitors for my "studio".

I like Sony MDR-7506's
