Hello fellow forum members and musicians!


Currently i'm trying to explore (dark) ambient music by making my own tracks. My plan is to release a demo called The Gradual Decline of Mental Integrity.


Each track im making will be my perspective of how a mental illness would sound like. At least one track is quite done for the moment , and i'm still busy with two others.. Plan is to make atleast 8 of them.


However, i'm not quite experienced in making electronic-ish music. So what i'm trying to do is approach it in an entirely different way. I don't know if it's unique, but i don't really care if it's unique. My gear at the moment is really simple : Phonic Helixboard 17, a Warwick Streamer LX bassguitar, a microphone, and a few random stuff like toothbrushes to experiment with. I'm using Audacity for recording and mixing.


In a while i will get some more equipment to work with, but i guess it's better to start simple and get more advanced stuff later.
