Just something I'd like to share. Maybe it will appeal to those drawn towards the darker side of music. This is a very fascinating composer. I've been listening to lots of his music in recent years. Alexander Scriabin - Vers La Flamme (Towards The Flame) (1914) (performer: Vladimir Horowitz) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlqGkVc29GwI find this a completely mesmerizing and awe-inspiring composition and performance. Enjoy!

Thank you for posting this - I hadn't listened to Scriabin since I was probably 18 or 19, I had totally forgotten him unfortunately. What an amazing composer.

Scriabin is my personal favourite from classical music. Horowitz is very good at performing his songs in my opinion. The Poem of Fire, Vers La Flamme and definately Black Mass Sonata are deep musical experiences.
