Stunning! By far one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The only thing that bothered me was some people in the crowd who had problems shutting the fuck up.

Thank you B, both for the seminar and for the concert!

Since it was free there were probably a lot of people there who had no idea what they were getting into. Three people in front of us left after about 20 minutes. I've heard "reports" of people talking throughout most of the show, and someone talking on her cellphone. Some people who sat near the back heard the music from the bar toward the ending.

But all that aside, and that the sound system could've been better, I really enjoyed it. At times, I closed my eyes just to get nothing but the soundscapes.

I had a great view from the 2nd balcony, just to the right of the sound guy. I kind of regret my spot though, because during most passages, I was hearing the rattling sound of the venue. Sitting more in the middle was a lot better from that point of view I heard.

Great show though, I truly enjoyed it. The last 15 minutes plus ending sequence were the highlights for me.

Some really crappy pics I took with my iPhone:

It was deep, and loud! I left shaken and stirred:)

I was sitting on the "ground floor" on row 4 or 5, and had no problem with people talking, but I could also hear the whole room shaking and vibrating during some of the "worst" bassdrones. (It was an old theater)

But it was a very good concert, and definitely worth the trip. I was impressed by how Brian mixed the sound live and combined sounds from different tracks to create new ones. Like f ex combining Aldebaran Of The Hyades from The Place Where The Black Stars Hang with Compassion from Rising 060606 towards the end of the show.

But I don't have to tell you this, you can listen to the whole concert here:
http://sverigesradio.se/sida/artikel.aspx?programid=3676&artikel=4233764&play=2852225&playtype=Ljudklipp
This was recorded by Swedish Radio, so the quality is good.

And here's a short videoclip I recorded:

Thank you Brian for taking the time and effort to come to a frozen Stockholm in mid-winter.

Thanks guys, I enjoyed it.

The sound system wasn't very good and the venue couldn't even handle even that, but we made the most of it and had some fun.

The center of the second floor balcony would probably be the best position for that kind of venue, and usually the ground floor rear corners can be the worst (bass traps). Not always the case put a good general rule.

I rather like the look of the first picture btw.
The screen wasn't any good either and the projector black levels ere all wrong and the images weren't true high definition. But hey, it was free and we made the best of it.
